Tours
Take an optional guided tour when you visit Indigenous and discover the beauty of Maori Art and Culture.
You will have the opportunity to learn about Maori customs and traditions,
- wear a Hieke (traditional Raincape),
- Touch a Kiwi Feather Cloak,
- Make a Flax Momento,
- Handle Maori Weaponry and
- Maori Musical Instruments,
- Learn the Poi (ball on a string)

The tour takes approximately one hour and is for small groups of 2-8 people.

Adults - $18 per person
Children - $9 per child (12 years and under)
Family concession - $48 per family

Erenora Puketapu Hetet - Hieke (Maori Rain Cape)

Erenora is one of the artists whose works are available for sale or commission at the Indigenous Gallery.

Erenora is recognised as an expert in the teaching and practice of Maori Fibre Art. Many of her works are located in public and private collections around the world with several pieces currently on exhibition at 'Te Papa' and at the British Museum in London.
