Lure was established by Ann Culy in 1995 to provide an inner city workspace and retail outlet extending the range of jewellery available for Dunedin people. It has grown to accomodate workspace for up to four jewellers and provides workspace for visiting jewellers and craft design students on work experience. The gallery now represents up to 30 of New Zealand's leading contemporary jewellers. Lure has an excellent reputation for innovation and runs a lively programme of exhibitions.
