Kelly Thompson: Locus Operandi
Locus Operandi is an exhibition of new work by Dunedin textile artist, Kelly Thompson.It consists of a series of weavings which
the artist describes as “exploring the notion of place as a definer and a
marker of self, locating oneself in the terrain of Aotearoa, a Pacific
nation. Thompson’s work is characterised by the use of recognisable images, such as maps, figures and New Zealand plants, in conjunction with abstract forms.
A Dunedin Public Art Gallery exhibition.

Neil Dawson: Cones
Cones is an installation comprising of five conical structures suspended from the
ceiling of the atrium of the gallery. Each cone is approximately 1.6m long and
will represent a particular theme.
