Les Objects Du Desir - Ilse-Marie Erl
Ilse- Marie Erl is a graduate of Unitec Art and Design School, and in many ways the total proportion of this book is governed by her artistic concerns. She has herself done the photography, produced the pieces and worked on the design. Her work is an investigation of body ornament and adornment- hair, jewellery and the intimacy of design objects worn close to the body. She has work collaboratively with several artists, and friends, and in doing so has asked them to respond top a narrative of hair loss and in doing so reveal some of how they view body adornment.
