This issue is guest-edited by Robert Leonard, Director of Artspace, Auckland, and part-funded by Creative New Zealand the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa - allowing us to include an additional 12 pages of essays. It is substantially authored by New Zealand academics, curators and writers, and profiles Maori, Pakeha, Pacific and Asian artists.
