Every Kitchen tells a Story On
the 11th of Septmeber members of the trust went to a book launch at Dymocks in Wellington. Our official photographer Julia Brooke-White collaborated with Clare de Lore to have published 'Every Kitchen tells a Story'.

Of course Julia was the photographer. All images are in black and white. The photography is the strength of the book.
The personality of each owner is almost transparent. Somehow they 'fit' their own space with dignity and presence, and are proud of their special style hub of the house. None are clinical designer kitchens. They are clearly lived and worked in. Nothing is artificially set up, the integrity of the person and the kitchen is maintained. It is a real book. It is life as it is lived. Refreshing and such a relief.

One comment; only three kitchens in fifty four, actually have New Zealand crafted functional ware visible.
