Grotto - Blue Madonna
This piece was inspired by my finding the trough (lovingly used by generations of little hungry piggies) which after cleaning and standing it on end; took on 'Temple-like proportions' reminding me of the many grotto's in Italy and Spain. Tthe Madonna came as a result of the feeling that was generated by that imagery.

It is a working plane. I have several others in my workshop which I made for particular functions.
