Vessel - Xenolith
Xenoliths (one type of rock embedded in a rock of another variety). This work portrays the fragility of the light and colour I see from my workshop as the setting sun touches snow on the mountains nearby.
Ali Bramwell
Vessel
Bronze vessel. Technically challenging. Fine casting. Part of a series exploring feminine receptiveness.

Dolphin Pod
The spiritual bond between people and dolphins has been noted from earliest times. For those fortunate enough to be out boating and see a distant pod suddenly change direction and race bouncing over the water toward them, there is no experience to make the spirit soar higher. To capture that joyful exuberance I have devised this pendant pod of four dolphins which can all move on their own cord.

Leaf-back Rocking Chair
This chair is a development from my original 'Signature' Rocking Chair. In this piece I have reworked the whole top half of the chair, incorporating a leaf-shaped back support, held by a full encircling arm in one piece.

Brooch
Silver, constructed brooch.
Gavin Hitchings
Brooch - Bridging Series III
This brooch is the first in a new series of works which follows on from two previous sequences, and is based on some metaphorical abstractions relating to architectural imagery and the earth's surface.
The brooch is essentially a 3-Dimensional linear structure which makes use of illusory qualities to enhance the third dimension.
It is hand pierced, constructed and soldered.

Celebration Necklace
A celebration of life, this (large) piece dances and moves with the wearer. Beading and weaving are integral to this piece. These techniques are employed as an acknowledgement of indigenous art and celebrate cultural diversity.

Flower Necklace
Using a particular process the copper separates from the sterling silver to produce this off-beat design.
